FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two embodiments of a method for treating an intermediate layer stabilized with iron sulfide using inhibited hydrochloric acid. One option involves heating, introducing inhibited hydrochloric acid followed by settling. It is characterized by the fact that the intermediate layer is heated to 60–80 °C with circulation, then 10–25 % inhibited hydrochloric acid is added to the intermediate layer in an amount of 10–50 % to the volume of the intermediate layer, the mixture of the intermediate layer with inhibited hydrochloric acid is circulated for 1–2 hours, then it is left to stand for 48–120 hours, then the separated water is sent to neutralize with an alkaline reagent to pH 5.5–6.9.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to improve the processing efficiency of the intermediate layer.
