SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oilfield site preparation, in particular, to the treatment of highly stable oil-water emulsions. Invention relates to a method of complex processing of an intermediate layer, stabilized by iron sulfide, including processing of the intermediate layer, consisting of heating, introducing inhibited hydrochloric acid, followed by settling. Method of processing the intermediate layer comprises heating the intermediate layer to 60–85 °C with circulation for 0.5–1 h, introducing a diluent in an amount of 10–25 % by volume of the intermediate layer during circulation, introducing a reagent in an amount of 1,000 to 1,2000 mg/dm3 with a diluent into the intermediate layer, circulating the mixture of the intermediate layer with the diluent and reagent for 1–2 h, further settling for 48–120 h, separating the residual intermediate layer, further heating of the residual intermediate layer to 60–80 °C with circulation, further introducing of 10–25 % inhibited hydrochloric acid into the residual intermediate layer in an amount of 10–50 % by volume of the residual intermediate layer, further circulation of the mixture of the residual intermediate layer with inhibited hydrochloric acid for 1–2 h, further settling for 48–120 h, further directing of separated water to neutralization with an alkaline reagent to pH 3.0–6.0.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of processing of the intermediate layer.
