New linear oligoaryl silanes of the general formula (I) in which Ar is identical or different arylene or heteroarylene radicals selected from the group: substituted or unsubstituted thienyl-2,5-diyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl-1,4-diyl, substituted or unsubstituted 1,3-oxazole-2,5-diyl, and substituted or unsubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole-2,5-diyl; n is an integer from 2 to 3. Method for preparing these compounds is also provided.
