FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clinical medicine, namely anesthesiology and resuscitation as a way to objectively assess the presence of anxiety and stress in pregnant women during cesarean delivery. Method is carried out by determining the change in concentration α-amylase saliva during cesarean section. Saliva sampling at rest, which is performed on the following days after hospitalization, to exclude the emotion of the first day of stay in the hospital, is performed no earlier than 2 hours after eating, in the morning. Then the next saliva fence on the operating table, in the morning, immediately before anesthesia. Then the results are compared, increasing the concentration α-amylase indicates the presence of emotional stress.
EFFECT: invention provides a non-invasive and easy-to-use method of objective assessment of the presence of stress.
