FIELD: processing and recycling of wastes; oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing of heavy oil residues, comprising vacuum distillation of fuel oil with the separation of a directly distilled vacuum distillate and tar, coking the tar, followed by separation of liquid coking products into gasoline, diesel fractions and heavy gas oil fraction, which is mixed with the directly distilled vacuum distillate and sent to a hydroforming stage. From the hydroforming products, gasoline, diesel fuel fractions and hydroforming residue, divided into two streams, one of which is removed as residual marine fuel, and the second one is returned to the hydroforming process in a mixture with the directly distilled vacuum and heavy gas oil fraction, are separated, wherein the ratio of residual marine fuel removed from the process and the hydroforming residue returned to the process being from 30–70 % to 70–30 % by weight.
EFFECT: proposed method provides the high yield production of low-sulfur residual marine fuel and motor fuel components under relatively mild conditions.
