FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the field of improving the ecology of natural water bodies with sea water and their purification from hydrogen sulphide. To carry out the method, the hydrogen sulfide-containing waters are lifted to the surface by the air lift and the hydrogen sulphide is extracted from them, followed by its decomposition into elements. Water is lifted by vertical pipeline (1), in the working part of which the electrolysis of water with hydrogen sulphide dissolved in it is carried out, the anode being the pipeline body made of light aluminum alloy. In the lateral working surface of the pipeline body there are windows (2) for water intake during its trawling in a layer of water with dissolved hydrogen sulphide. Lower part of the pipe is tightly closed with a lid to collect water-insoluble electrolysis products that are heavier than water (6). Cathode is a solid cylinder of aluminum alloy, duralumin with a copper content of 5–8 % (7), located along the axis of the pipeline in its working part.
EFFECT: method provides an effective purification of water bodies with sea water from hydrogen sulphide and, consequently, prevention of reduction of fish stocks in water bodies.
