FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas purification from impurities and can be used to prepare gas in various industries. Device for the separation of gas-liquid mixture includes a pipe, at the lower end of which there is an inlet for the stream to be cleaned, at the upper end there is a gas outlet, a static vane swirler installed in the nozzle coaxially with it between the inlet of the stream being cleaned and the gas outlet, a means for removing liquid. At the inlet, the nozzle is provided with a confuser, which is coaxial with it and which narrows downstream, fixed on the support sheet from the side opposite to the nozzle location. Diameter of the output part of the confuser coincides with the diameter of the contact pipe, the diameter of the input part of the confuser is larger than the diameter of its output part. Confuser is made of conical shape, its generator is made rectilinear or curvilinear, convex with respect to the inlet flow of the form, tangent to the final edge of the confuser coincides with the generator of the input part of the nozzle or is parallel to it. Swirler is installed in the confuser, each blade of the confuser swirler is a curved plate, the tangent plane to the lower edge of which is perpendicular to the confuser inlet section, and the tangent plane to the upper edge of the confuser blade is made with an angle of inclination relative to the axis of the confuser not more than the angle of inclination of the tangent plane to the lower edge of the blade of the swirler of the nozzle.

EFFECT: reducing the hydraulic resistance of the flow of the purified gas due to its smooth narrowing at the entrance to the nozzle and pre-tightening and reducing the shock load on the plane of the blades of the swirler of the nozzle.
