FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas purification from impurities. Device for the separation of gas-liquid mixture includes a nozzle, at the lower end of which there is an inlet for the stream being cleaned, at the upper end – a gas outlet, as well as a static paddle swirl mounted in the nozzle coaxially with it between the inlet of the stream to be cleaned and the outlet of the gas, means for removing the liquid. At the inlet, the nozzle is provided with a confuser, which is coaxial with it and which narrows downstream, fixed on the support sheet from the side opposite to the nozzle location. Diameter of the output part of the confuser coincides with the diameter of the contact nozzle, the diameter of the input part of the confuser is larger than the diameter of its output part. Confuser is made of a conical shape, its generator is made rectilinear with conjugation of the upper edge of the confuser with the lower edge of the nozzle or forming the confuser is made curved, convex with respect to the inlet flow of the form, however, the tangent to the end edge of the confuser coincides with the generatrix of the inlet part of the nozzle or is parallel to it.

EFFECT: elimination of flow separation at the point of contact of the nozzle with the support web by eliminating the sharp edges at the inlet of the nozzle by smoothly narrowing the flow to be cleaned to its input diameter.
