FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for the production of water-soluble paper with an embroidery pattern. In the method, a mixture of wood pulp and carboxymethyl cellulose alkali metal with a degree of substitution of 0.1–1.5 is prepared. To obtain the mixture, wood pulp ground to a degree of grinding from 17 to 45°SR is used, while the average length of cellulose fibers in the finished paper is 0.1–10 mm. Resulting homogeneous suspension passes through a drain onto the wire of the paper machine into the wire part, a nonwoven fabric is obtained, and after removing water, the base paper is obtained, which is then dried to obtain a paper with a density of 15–45 g/m2.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining paper with good dissolution in water, without the presence of cellulose fibers in the finished embroidery between the stitches and the woven base.
