FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electronic regulation of braking force distribution in a braking device (1), driven by pressure medium, a vehicle having at least one front axle braking circuit mated to front axle (2) and at least one rear axle braking circuit mating with rear axle (8), moreover, when braking device is activated (1), rear axle brake pressure acting in at least one rear axle circuit is adjusted to prevent rear wheels from locking before front wheels are locked. In accordance with the invention, it is provided that rear axle (8) brake pressure is limited only when pressure value acting in rear axle brake circuit remains below a predetermined pressure threshold value, and in case when pressure value acting in the rear axle brake circuit becomes equal to or greater than the predetermined pressure threshold value, brake pressure on rear axle (8) is not limited. Brake device is also proposed.
EFFECT: thus, higher braking power is ensured in case of breakdown of front axle brake circuit.
