Before the actual load switching, the step switch is first moved preferably in the opposite direction with respect to the subsequent load switching by a small value. In this case, it is checked whether the stage switch moves, that is, has left its previous stationary position, and / or the torque on the motor drive has exceeded a predetermined limit value. Only after a positive check is carried out, the actual load switching is performed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a method for controlling the operation of the motor-driven stage switch for the non-discontinuous switching between the taps of the winding of the stepped transformer.
