FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for measuring ion concentration of atmospheric air. Device for counting the ions contains an aspiration chamber whose high-voltage electrode is connected to a high-voltage power source, and the collecting electrode through a key controlled by a control signal, with the input of an input device whose output is connected to the input of a bandpass filter, and a low-pass filter whose output is connected to the input of the indicating device. Device is further provided with a time delay device and a phase detector whose input is connected to the output of the bandpass filter, the output to the input of the low pass filter, and the control input to the output of the time delay device, the input of which is connected to the output of the control device, the signal of which controls the operation of the key. In the device for counting the ions, the period of the signal controlling the operation of the key is an even number of times greater than the period of the supply network of 50 Hz.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring ion concentration by reducing effect of noise.
