SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conversion equipment. Plurality of carrier signal patterns, which are a carrier signal pattern A and a carrier signal pattern B, are formed by dividing the carrier signals of a triangular wave every 1/2 period at a time when the triangular wave carrier signals cross each other. Carrier signal pattern, which balances the potential of a neutral point, is selected from the carrier signal pattern A and the carrier signal pattern B based on the upper arm DC voltage detection value Ea, lower arm DC voltage detection value Eb and the output current detection value lout. While performing a PWM operation that compares the selected carrier signal pattern with the output voltage command Vref, an ON/OFF signal is generated for each switch. With these operations in a single-phase NPC converter, the potential of a neutral DC voltage point is controlled without changing the switching time.
EFFECT: technical result – increase in the stability of control.
