SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a technique for generating microwave oscillations, in particular, to autoresonant microwave oscillators. Proposed autoresonant microwave generator contains a vacuum waveguide of increased section, a solenoid with a uniform magnetic field and an external magnetic circuit, the electron injector, the profiles of the waveguide and the internal section of the solenoid are mutually consistent and provide optimal conditions for the autoresonant microwave generation of the magnetic-type wave, the height of the waveguide at the site of electron injection is matched with the energy of the injected electrons, the injector is built into the waveguide at the end of the solenoid, the waveguide outside the solenoid is closed into a resonant waveguide ring with an autoresonant frequency, waveguide cross section outside the solenoid is standard, and the transitions between the inner broadened and outer standard are made by horn semicircular waveguides, the output of microwave energy of a known type from the outer waveguide of the standard cross section.
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of an efficient device for generating electromagnetic waves of the centimeter and millimeter range.
