FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a composite structural material having a filling phase retained in a matrix, such as a cementing phase. Composite structural material formed from a filler in a solid matrix constituting a cementitious binder, an energy-modified cement or a cement mixture, the aggregate is a granular material in which each particle includes at least three radial legs extending radially symmetrically outward from the central core to form three-dimensional filler particles, the legs having a diameter at a location closest to the central core that is smaller than the diameter/width of the central core, central core has a substantially spherical, cylindrical or cubic shape, the central core has exposed portions of the surface between the legs and these portions have a surface contour, the composite structural material comprising from about 2 to 7.5 % by volume of said aggregate. Invention is developed in dependent items of the formula.
EFFECT: creation of a new form of aggregate that is capable of forming a composite structural material with a lower density while maintaining its strength characteristics and workability.
