SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to compositions of alloys based on iron, which can be used in the power, road construction and lifting and transport engineering. Iron-based alloy contains, by weight, %: manganese 5.0–5.5; chromium 13.0–15.0; nickel 2.0–2.2; aluminum 2.2–2.4; titanium 0.03–0.05; calcium 0.005–0.01; cobalt 23.0–25.0; selenium 0.002–0.004; niobium 0.2–0.25; vanadium 0.2–0.25; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high strength.
