SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, specifically to an aqueous stable composition that inhibits the precipitation/aggregation of an aluminium-containing salt. Composition contains an antiperspirant active ingredient and disodium EDTA, as well as QS water, in which the antiperspirant active ingredient contains an aluminium-containing salt. Components of the composition are taken in certain quantities, wherein the pH of the composition ranges from 2 to 5. Disclosed are: the use of EDTA disodium as a preservative in an antiperspirant composition; use of the composition as an antiperspirant; method of applying the composition to a subject using a roll-on applicator.

EFFECT: above-described stable aqueous composition prevents precipitation/aggregation of the aluminium salt, thus preserving the effectiveness of the antiperspirant.
