FIELD: personal hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to antiperspirant / deodorant compositions. The antiperspirant composition contains an antiperspirant active substance containing aluminum, water and a preservative system, where the preservative system contains a biodegradable aminocarboxylate, where the biodegradable aminocarboxylate is 3-hydroxy-2,2'-iminodisuccinic acid (HIDS) or its alkali metal salts in the amount of 0.1-0.2% by weight of the composition. Also disclosed is a method for reducing visible sweating.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased effectiveness of the antiperspirant.
