FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to a method for monitoring the operability of integrated sensor units (ISU). Method consists in comparing the assigned threshold values, after turning on the strap-down inertial system (SDIS), they perform an accelerated health check of the navigation sensors in a static position in a certain way, if the test conditions are met, turn on the “Run Enabled” signal, turn on continuous monitoring using backup sensors, use fourfold redundancy in a certain way, comparing their readings with those of the main navigation system.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability of detection of a failure, accuracy of control, efficiency of accomplishment of flight tasks.
