CATHETER SUPPORTING BLOOD VOLUME BY SHUNTING VEIN Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/12 A61M25/10

Abstract RU 2672374 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely, to a catheter, which makes it possible to perform operations on the repair of veins without bleeding and without obstruction of blood flow in the veins by shunting blood flow in a vein, subject to surgery, and prevents any impairment of health caused by the arrest of blood flow in the organ, fed by the appropriate vein, and which maintains blood flow by shunting the vein during vascular operations, performed for surgical processes associated with veins in the human body. Catheter unit that supports blood flow by shunting a vein, open at both ends and made of any plastic, contains one balloon at each point close to both points of attachment to the vein; the protective layer located on inflatable cylinders; second channel, providing deflating/inflation of inflatable balloons, having the shape of a tube connected to the first channel side by side, with one open end of the second channel ending inside the inflatable balloon; check valve device, which is located at the lower end of the second channel, and delivers substances, such as air and liquid, using an injector to inflate/deflate the inflatable balloon; protective segment, surrounding the first channel from outside, thereby preventing its blocking at compression; lid that prevents the catheter apparatus from exiting the vein or moving it; clamping device, used for fixing the cover in the appropriate place; at least one third pipe-shaped channel with both ends open, one end of which is located within the first channel, and the other end is outside the first channel and is used to discharge liquid or air; connecting device that is connected to the outer rear end of the third channel, and which provides a connection to the external injector and catheters. lid is located on the body side of the catheter, behind the inflatable balloon, and configured to move through the catheter apparatus, since it is wider than the body of the catheter apparatus, and has a flexible design that has both open ends, which may have the shape of a funnel, or circle, or ellipse.

EFFECT: invention provides a more efficient and comfortable work from the point of view of the patient and the surgeon, maintaining blood flow in the area of vascular damage through an alternative method in the field of vascular surgery, where a surgical operation must be performed due to a tumor, aneurysm or any other reason.
