FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to a method for producing ordered lysozyme films on solid substrates. Prepare a mother liquor of lysozyme in a buffer with a concentration corresponding to the beginning of the crystallization of lysozyme. Filter the lysozyme solution and centrifuge it. In parallel, prepare the mother liquor of sodium chloride – precipitant for lysozyme. Precipitant solution is filtered. Then the mother liquors of lysozyme and precipitant are mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio. Resulting mixture being allowed to remain for 1 h to form oligomers. Next, the mixture is applied to the water sub-phase of the Langmuir bath, a monolayer is formed and transferred to a solid substrate.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain more uniform and close-packed lysozyme films with a thickness of 7½ nm.
