FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a manual method of producing decorative images, allowing to obtain multi-color and / or multi-colored surfaces on the surfaces of flat cork panels, as well as flat panels, the front surface of which is made of cork material, and can be applied in the field of interior decoration. Method of applying artistic decorative coating on the surface of flat cork panels includes staining, interoperational drying, however, the decorative coating is carried out on the previously cleaned and ground surface of the cork board by successively applying the dye and applying a shift to the wet dye coating with hand tools to obtain an image, as a dye, a water-borne acrylic-based stain is used, while drying after applying the dye is carried out for 0.5–3 hours at ambient temperature within 20–25 °C and humidity not more than 65 %.
EFFECT: simplification of the technological process, reducing the cost of the finished product and preserving the environmental properties of the material to be coated, as well as ensuring the production of any multicolor and / or multi-colored decorative surfaces, including imitation on the finished product of natural wood texture, bamboo texture, canvas.
