SUBSTANCE: mechanical connector for conveyor belts consists of an upper, two lower plates and two connecting screws. Upper plate is made flat, with tidal cylindrical shapes at its ends and two through holes for the connecting elements. Each bottom plate has a through hole through the center with a thread under the connecting element. Upper and lower plates have profiled protrusions for fixation with a conveyor belt. Area of connection with the conveyor belt of each lower plate is less than the connection area with the conveyor belt of the tidal cylindrical shape of the upper plate.
EFFECT: provided reduction in the dynamic force of the lower plates on the rollers and drums of the conveyor.
