FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Fuel rail for gasoline is proposed, including the main body of flat-shaped fuel rail 1 with pair of opposite wide walls 2, 3 and pair of opposite narrow walls 4, 5, with the width of the latter being less than the width of pair of wide walls 2, 3. Inlet 7 is located and fixed on narrow wall 4 of the main body of fuel rail 1, and connection portion 10 of inlet 7 and narrow wall 4 is covered without breaks with reinforcing material 11 from connection portion 10 and on wide walls 2, 3 on both sides of the connection area or along the entire contour of walls 2–5 from the connection area, whereby the connection section 10 is reinforced.
EFFECT: invention provides enhanced layout and placement of the fuel rail assembly by increasing the possible attachment points of the intake manifold to the body of the fuel rail while at the same time eliminating the occurrence of high stresses at the attachment point.
