SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an interactive movie watching system. Media sharing system provides shared experiencing of licensed media content. System includes a web server that communicates with multiple client devices over the Internet. Plurality of partners of the user on social networks may participate in synchronised streaming of licensed media content. System is able to schedule the multi-user experiencing of the licensed media content and further synchronise the streaming of the licensed content as a result of which participating users receive the media streams in a substantially synchronised manner. System provides for social content interaction amongst the multiple recipients of the content so that the multiple users can interact in a time-contextual manner consistent with the substantially synchronised receipt of the licensed media content.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in synchronising the delivery of recorded content to a plurality of parties with the possibility of contextual dialogue interaction.
