SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for selecting the recommended media objects. Media objects are obtained, with each corresponding media object having at least one corresponding user interaction parameter. At least one tag is received associated with each corresponding media object. Accept a request for a recommendation of a media object. Receive at least one tag and at least one user interaction parameter associated with the media object. Identify potential candidates in recommended media objects based on at least one media object tag that matches the tags associated with the corresponding media objects. Determine for each potential candidate in the recommended media objects the number of tags that match the tags of the media object. Form the corresponding relationship parameter based on the number of matching tags and the corresponding user interaction parameter. Select at least one recommended media object with which a predetermined value of the relationship parameter is associated.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the time spent searching for content that the user previously interacted with.
