Container (20) further comprises movable container back wall (28) depending along first fold line (32) from box (22), wherein movable container back wall (28) is movable about first fold line (32) between an open position and a closed position, and wherein movable container back wall (28) at least partially overlies box back wall (30) when movable container back wall (28) is in the closed position. Lid (24) depends along hinge line (26) from movable container back wall (28), wherein lid (24) being movable between an open position and a closed position. First compartment (34) for receiving consumer goods is located in box (22), wherein first compartment (34) is accessible when lid (24) is in the open position, and second compartment (36) for receiving consumer goods is also located in box (22), wherein second compartment (36) is accessible when both lid (24) and movable container back wall (28) are in their respective open positions.

EFFECT: containers in accordance with the present invention find particular application as containers for elongate smoking articles, such as cigarettes.
