FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: container (100) with a hinged cover for consumer articles comprises box-shaped part (102) formed from a workpiece having a thickness (T) and forming a front wall of box-shaped part (102), cover part (104) and inner frame (108) arranged in box-like part (102). Part of front wall (110) of inner frame extends beyond upper edge of front wall of part in form of box. Magnetic gate containing first magnetic material (200) is provided on inner surface of part (104) in the form of a cover. Second magnetic material (202) is provided on front wall (110) of the inner frame. First and second magnetic materials (200, 202) overlap when cover (104) is in closed position to hold cover in closed position by magnetic action. Second magnetic material (202) is a flexible magnetic layered material applied on the outer surface of front wall (110) of the inner frame such that the outer surface of the flexible magnetic laminar material is horizontally offset from the outer surface of the front wall of the box-shaped part at a distance substantially, which corresponds to thickness (T) of the workpiece.
