SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to an agent retaining a population of GABA-ergic neurons after acute perinatal hypoxia. Claimed agent comprises 4-amino-3-phenylbutanoic acid with salicylic acid in a molar ratio (1–3):1.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention makes it possible to obtain a low-toxic agent preserving the population of GABA-ergic neurons after acute perinatal hypoxia.
