FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a catalytic additive in the form of microgranules and a catalytic additive obtained by said method. Method includes treating ZSM-5 zeolite with a phosphorus-containing compound in such a way as to include in it from 2 wt% to 6 wt% P2O5, spray drying the phosphorus-treated zeolite, calcining the spray-dried phosphorus-treated zeolite at a temperature below 650 °C in the presence of steam, mixing calcined, phosphorus-treated zeolite with kaolin, in the form of a mixture of two aqueous suspensions, and a phosphorus-containing compound in liquid form, spray drying the mixture to microgranules and calcining the microgranules at a temperature of 150 °C to 815 °C, where the microgranules contain 10–25 wt% P2O5.
EFFECT: improved catalytic activity.
