METHOD FOR FLUIDIZED CRACKING TO INCREASE YIELD OF OLEFINS AND INTENDED CATALYTIC COMPOSITION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B01J29/46 B01J38/12 C10G11/05 B01J27/16

Abstract RU 2793858 C1

FIELD: cracking process.

SUBSTANCE: fluidized cracking method and a composition of a regenerated catalyst. A fluidized cracking process is presented, comprising contacting a hydrocarbon feed with a circulating available amount of regenerated fluid catalytic cracking catalyst to form a product flow, where the regenerated fluid catalytic cracking catalyst in the available amount has a carbon content in the range from 0.005 to 0.30% by weight, based on the total amount of the regenerated catalyst composition available, and contains a pentasil-containing catalyst/additive composition that contains a pentasil zeolite; from 0.7 to 4.0% by weight of iron oxide; and from 5.0 to 20% by weight of phosphorus (calculated as P2O5); where the amounts of iron oxide and phosphorus are given based on the % by weight of composition of the pentasil-containing catalyst/additive. In another implementation, a regenerated catalyst composition is provided in an available amount of circulating catalyst in a fluidized cracking process, wherein the regenerated catalyst has a carbon content in the range of 0.005 to 0.30% by weight, based on the total amount of catalyst available, and contains a pentasil-containing composition of a catalyst/additive that contains pentasil zeolite; from 0.7 to 4.0% by weight of iron oxide; and from 5.0 to 20% by weight of phosphorus (calculated as P2O5); where the amounts of phosphorus and iron oxide, respectively, are given based on the amount of phosphorus and iron oxide in the pentasil-containing catalyst/additive composition.

EFFECT: increased yield and selectivity for light olefins.
