METHOD OF VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F24F7/08

Abstract RU 2672957 C1

FIELD: ventilation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ventilation and air conditioning, in particular, to supply and exhaust ventilation devices with heat energy recovery to provide supply and exhaust ventilation of air in educational, medical, administrative, entertainment institutions; apartments, offices, cabins, individual and multi-family homes; automotive, marine, aeronautical engineering, boiler rooms, in factories, railway engineering, metro, railway stations and in all other areas where air changes are required. Method of ventilation and air conditioning consists in creating two opposite axial air flows between the external and internal stationary cylinders and a thin-walled cylinder located between them rotating around its axis. In this case, the rotating thin-walled cylinder is a heat exchanger, which, rotating, twists the air flow around itself from inside and outside, creating a working surface of heat exchange equal to the surface area of the rotating thin-walled cylinder multiplied by the number of revolutions, and the axial direction of the air flow is created by stationary outer and inner cylinders with located on their surface, from the side of the rotating cylinder, by repeated channels running from one end of the cylinders to the opposite end of the cylinders in the form of spirals having opposite directions (twisted in the opposite direction to each other). Air flows, in contact with a rotating thin-walled cylinder, transfer thermal energy to it and, as a result, without mixing with each other, transfer thermal energy to each other.

EFFECT: technical result of the claimed method of ventilation and air conditioning is to increase the coefficient of performance (COP), increase the heat transfer coefficient, reduce the size, weight, cost, and also reduce energy consumption.
