FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical technology, namely, means for providing a method for cleaning the oral cavity. Method for determining the location of the oral cleaning device in the user mouth comprises the steps of: determining, based on the information of the sensor received from the identifier, the first location of the mouth cleaner in the user's mouth and measuring the time interval between the beginning and termination of the movement of the oral cleaning device in the user's mouth at the first location. With the help of the Fitts law and the measured past interval, the number of teeth, on which the oral cleaning device was displaced during the past time interval. Then, based on the first location and the number of teeth, which of the user's teeth were included in the movement are determined. Second embodiment of the method comprises the steps of determining, based on the sensor information received from the motion identifier, the first location of the oral cleaning device in the user's mouth. After that, it is detected by the sensor information received from the identifier, the transfer of the oral cleaning device from the first location to the second location in the user's mouth. Then, using the Fitts law and the elapsed time interval for the transition, calculate the probability of a time interval for the transition from the set of possible transitions during the elapsed time interval. Second location is then determined based on the first location and the calculated transition probability. Methods are carried out by means of a mouth cleaner that contains a motion identifier and a controller, connected to the motion identifier, wherein the controller is configured to perform the specified methods.
EFFECT: use of a group of inventions provides an improved accuracy in tracking the location of the oral cleanser in the mouth to provide an assessment of the user's cleaning technique.
