FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system for oral hygiene and to a method for assistance with maintaining an oral hygiene regimen. The method for assistance with maintaining an oral hygiene regimen includes depicting at least a part of a dental arch of the user on a display apparatus. The method also includes superimposing a symbol on the depiction so that the symbol is associated with the first section of the depiction. In response to determining by at least one of the one or more processors that the head of the oral hygiene apparatus is located immediately near the first section of the dental arch corresponding with the first section of the depiction for at least a predetermined amount of time, the symbol is removed from the display apparatus.
EFFECT: invention allows following the recommendations of the dentist and reducing gum diseases and other dental complications caused by lack of brushing.
