SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport machine engineering. Vehicle contains a hood side panel, a lining plate, an instrument panel and a rivet. Instrument panel is inserted between the hood side panel hood and the lining plate. Rivet extends through the hood side panel and instrument panel into the lining plate. Rivet has a first diameter at the interface of the instrument panel and the lining plate and has a second diameter deeper into the lining plate. Second diameter is greater than the first diameter. Instrument panel has a thickness that is less than the thickness of the hood side panel and less than the thickness of the lining plate.
EFFECT: improved reliability of connection of the vehicle panels.
