SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Rear side step of a pickup truck comprises a vertical side portion and an upper portion. Upper portion extends horizontally from the side portion. Upper portion has an upper surface having a shape for positioning it under a platform of a pickup truck. Upper surface of the upper portion forms a drainage chute extending through the upper surface and along the length of the rear side step. Pickup truck includes an aluminium pickup truck body having a rear end, a bottom and said rear side step. Rear side step assembly and pickup truck platform comprises a horizontal panel of a pickup truck platform having a bottom and a rear surface extending transversely from the pickup platform panel and said rear side step.
EFFECT: reduced weight of the body of the truck.
