FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the lubrication of the cross-axle differential. Differential (1) contains cup (2) of a differential with apertures and press-fit tapered bearing (3) installed in the opening of crankcase (4) of the main transmission of the vehicle and fixed in the axial direction, semi-axle gears (6) with thrust washers (7), oil suction cover (8) mounted on differential cup (2). Casing (8) is made of inner (11) and outer (13) covers respectively (11 and 13). Inner casing (11) has holes (12) on the outer surface. On the end surface of outer casing (13) opposite the bearing there is hole (14) of larger diameter, the axis of which is offset from the axis of the differential by a distance X to form partially closed cavity (15) between the inner and outer casing.
EFFECT: improvement and simplification of the differential lubrication system is achieved.
