SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a seat assembly. Seat assembly for a motor vehicle comprises a main seat portion, a headrest and a neck support. Main seat portion includes a seating surface, a seat back having a front surface and a rear surface, and a storage recess in said rear surface. Headrest is mounted on the main seat portion. Neck support is pivotally connected to the main seat portion and is configured to selectively move between the storage position in the storage recess and an unfolded position above the seating surface.
EFFECT: improved passenger comfort of the vehicle by providing lateral and neck support for the head.
