SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fat and oil industry. Method for purifying lecithin includes the steps of: (a) mixing lecithin with active carbon to form a dispersion; then (b) admixing the organic solvent into the dispersion; then (c) separating the active carbon and contaminants from the lecithin, preferably by using attraction forces. And the resulting lecithin is in liquid form and has a lowered level of PAH4. Resulting lecithin is added to the food or feed product.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain lecithin in a liquid form with a reduced amount of contaminants.
