SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing polyaspartic acids with a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of from 6,000 to 15,000 g/mol, relates to polyaspartic acid, to the use thereof, to solid detergent or cleanser composition, liquid and gel composition of detergent and cleanser. Process for the preparation of polyaspartic acid is that polycondensation of aspartic acid in the presence of methanesulfonic acid at a temperature of 170 to 230 °C for a time period of 1 minute to 50 hours. Subsequent hydrolysis of the polycondensates with addition of a base. Optional acidification of the salt of polyaspartic acid obtained with mineral acids or acidic ion exchangers. Methanesulfonic acid is taken in an amount of 1 to 15 mol.% in terms of the amount of aspartic acid used, as an aqueous solution. Polyaspartic acid is used as a scale inhibitor and/or dispersing agent, as well as an additive in dishwashing detergents, detergents or cleansers. Dishwashing composition comprises the above polyaspartic acid, a complexing agent, detergent components, non-ionic surfactants, bleaching agents, bleach activators and bleaching catalysts, enzymes and additives. Solid detergent or cleanser composition comprises the above polyaspartic acid, surfactants, detergent components, additional detergent components and / or complexing agents, bleaching systems, and detergent or cleaning agent ingredients. Liquid or gel composition of the detergent and cleaning agent comprises the above polyaspartic acid, surfactants, detergents, additional detergents and / or complexing agents, bleaching systems, detergent or cleaning agent ingredients, and water.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain biodegradable polyaspartic acid in high yield, to increase the cleaning ability of the dishwashing detergent, and to increase the effect of suppressing the formation of inorganic and organic deposits in plumbing systems.
