FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: hinge (4) comprises hinge part (7), which can be secured on door (3) or a shutter and is rotatably mounted on side part (5) via carrying lever (8) and guide lever (9), at least one spring (14), by means of which hinge part (7), in a self-retracting region of hinge (4), is displaced into a closed position, and linear damper (30) with piston rod (31), which can be moved relative to damper housing (32) for damping a closing and/or opening movement of hinge part (7), wherein deflecting element (15) is provided, said deflecting element being mounted on side part (5) such that it can be rotated about axis (16) and being arranged between damper (30) and guide lever (9) so as to move damper (30) to generate damping force during the closing movement of hinge part (7), characterized in that during an opening movement of hinge part (7), deflecting element (15) moves damper (30) in order to generate a damping force before the fully open position of hinge part (7) has been reached. This makes it possible to avoid hard impact of a door in the opening direction.
EFFECT: object of the present invention to provide a hinge which ensures improved handling.
