SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method consists in treating the seeds with a solution of the preparation, placing the equal weights of the treated seeds and controlling the untreated sample in a container, bringing them into contact with a moisture-containing substrate and holding seeds in contact with a moisture-containing substrate for 40–48 hours. Evaluation of the biological activity of the preparations by length of seedlings of treated seeds and control is carried out by comparing the bulk volumes of experimental and control samples of germinated seeds, from which capillary moisture is removed. At the same time, a higher indicator of bulk volume characterizes the best sowing qualities of seeds and the quality of the stimulator preparation.

EFFECT: method provides improved performance evaluation of the biological activity of stimulants for seed germination.
