FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hybrid binder used for the production of press materials operated in high temperature and corrosive environments. Hybrid binder contains a polyfunctional epoxy resin selected from epoxynovolac, epoxytriphenol and epoxyresorcinol gums, and a curing agent containing a hydroxyl-containing polyphenylmethylsiloxane resin and a phenol-formaldehyde resin selected from a novolac and one-stage resin. Heat-chemically resistant press material containing a hybrid binder and fibrous filler is also disclosed.
EFFECT: invention provides improved chemical resistance, strength and elastic properties in compression, as well as heat resistance of the press material.
