FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for extracting gold from gold-containing raw materials, comprising (a) leaching said gold-containing raw material in a chloride-containing leach solution and having a total concentration of halide ions of less than 120 g/l. Total concentration of chloride ions is less than 120 g/l to dissolve gold and obtain a leach solution containing gold. Leaching solution containing gold is simultaneously brought into contact with a sorbing material to obtain a leach solution containing a gold-containing sorbent material. Next, carry out (b) the extraction of gold and possibly silver from the specified gold-containing sorbent material.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce production costs by reducing the consumption of chemicals.
