FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used in hydrometallurgy for processing of two-fold hardness bearing concentrates, that is, raw material containing gold finely dispersed in sulphides and organic carbonaceous substance. The initial concentrate is sent to thermal treatment carried out at a temperature of 200-450°C for 15-120 minutes in an inert gas atmosphere, for example nitrogen, argon or air. After heat treatment, the concentrate is subject to acid treatment to destroy carbonates. The resulting acid pulp is washed from chloridem thickened and fed into autoclave. The leached pulp is cooled by self-evaporation, conditioned, dehydrated by thickening or filtration, neutralized with lime and subjected to sorption cyanidation.

EFFECT: significant increase in gold recovery.
