FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of nano-dispersed chromium carbide powder. Carry out the recovery treatment of the oxide compound of chromium by microwave radiation in an argon atmosphere. In an aqueous solution of an inorganic chromium salt selected from the group including Cr(NO3)3⋅9H2O, Cr(SO4)⋅6H2O and CrCl3, impose carbon black in the amount of chromium calculated for chromium oxide Cr2O3÷C=1:4.33 and carry out the processing of the resulting solution with an aqueous solution of inorganic alkali at pH=7.5–12.0 to obtain a precipitate of chromium nanoparticles on the surface of soot particles, which is dried and pressed into tablets. Resulting tablets are treated with microwave radiation with a frequency of 2,450–3,000 MHz and a power of 700–900 W at an argon feed rate of 5–6 l/h in three stages.
EFFECT: production of a single-phase nano-dispersed powder is provided.
