FIELD: fittings for windows, doors and other gates.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hinge (4) for furniture or household appliances, comprising side part (5) on which hinge part (7) is rotatably mounted with two levers (8, 9). There is damping device (10) containing movable damping element (20), which is mounted between guide elements (11, 30) for movement with the purpose of damping and which can be moved using first actuator (51) during the closing movement of hinge (4) until it reaches the closed position. Second actuator (52) is provided, which pushes damping element (20) during the opening movement of hinge (4) until the maximum open position is reached, in order to dampen the opening process. Thus, hinge (4) provides a damping function for both opening and closing.
EFFECT: object of the present invention is to provide a hinge, in which the handling is improved.
