FIELD: medicine; veterinary.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary and medical helminthology and can be used in immunotherapy of secondary alveolar echinococcosis. Method of immunotherapy of secondary alveolar echinococcosis includes the administration to mice and rats infected with E. multilocularis protoscolexes in a 15 days after infection subcutaneously for 12 days in a row of anticancer drug Crucine in 0.2 ml of sterile saline in an effective dose of 15 and 20 U, respectively (1 U includes 1,000 copies of lyophilized Trypanosoma cruzi). In the complex with anticancer drug Crucine, the cell antigen of E. multilocularis protoscolexes is simultaneously subcutaneously administered to animals at the same time in a dose of 60 and 80 mcg of protein, respectively.
EFFECT: use of this method provides a reduction in the mass of the developed cestodes in a larval stage by more than 8 times and the absence in them of full-fledged invasive germinal elements capable of infecting animals.
