SUBSTANCE: fan assembly includes a base and a body, which includes an air inlet, an impeller and a motor. Said fan assembly also includes an air outlet and an interior passage that extends around an opening. Further, a motorized oscillation mechanism contained in the base provides for oscillations of the body relative to the base around the axis of oscillation. Said motorized oscillating mechanism includes a second motor, a drive element driven by the second motor, and a driven member, which is driven by the drive member so that it rotates about the oscillation axis. Said drive element is connected to the base for rotation relative to it, and the body is mounted on the driven member to rotate with it.

EFFECT: suggested is a fan assembly.
