FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of Stirling type external combustion engines. Essence of invention consists in that the displacing piston is made in the form of open from the cylinder hot volume side and closed from the cylinder cold volume side a thin-walled bowl-shaped shell, which wall thickness is a multiple of the generatrix length. Cylinder walls heat supplying and heat removing internal surfaces are made in the form of the displacing piston shell walls similar surfaces so, that their generatrices are similar to the displacing piston shell generatrix, and in the connector between the cylinder heat-conducting and heat-removing walls the heat exchanger is located, in which volumes a regenerator, a cooler with coolant channels and overflow channels are located, through which the working fluid is forcibly and cyclically moved from the cylinder hot volume to the cold one and back by the displacing piston cyclic movements from its upper “dead point” to the lower one and back.
EFFECT: reducing the displacing piston weight and increasing its rigidity, as well as increasing the heat-removing and heat-conducting surfaces area.
